New I Game Questions

Hello, New Member and my first slot machine.  I had been searching for an IGT S2000 that took quarters but came across a good deal on this machine.  I am pretty sure it is a 17" I Game plus.  Build date 6/2002. I have a few questions about it.

Key Chip.  I think it is a 3902 board from reading through posts on here.  I just ordered a 40 chip on flea bay but not 100% sure I got the correct one.

The fans... Are very loud and I would like to replace them all.  Can anyone point me in the right direction for what i need?  They look like standard computer fans but I don't see anyone selling them at any of the slot parts shops.

Last question for now. Are there any good multi games for this board that has slots, poker and blackjack?  Super Star poker looks like the one to get but I think that is only for the 44 boards.  I guess I would need a bet one button too.  It is wired up for it and has the cover plate installed.

Yes, that's correct. 17" I-game+ with a 3902 MPU board.

The correct keychip depends on your game software set.  Your Alien software calls for Key 22.

I get most of my electronic parts from Digikey or Mouser.  There should be a tag on the fan with the part number on it.  Search that number on either of those two websites.

Game King 5.3 has a bunch of poker games, 3 or 4 keno games, and blackjack.  No slots though.

Gamk King 5.0 has a few poker games, couple of keno, and a couple of slots, but no blackjack.

You can play those games without having a bet one button.  If you want to bet less than max then use the bet one on the touchscreen.

Yes, Superstar poker is a 044 MPU game.

I found this Game King 5.3 set on ebay along with tons of other games  Are these all the chips I need or is there anything else?

That is a complete 5.3 set. Just so you know, you can usually source those items from members and vendors on this site without having to pay feebay prices and sales tax. KEY00040 replaces KEY00022 so it most likely would have worked as well. KEY00040 is also used on a legacy board which allows you to use 3902 software with a 044 MPU.

The chips I did order, they were fairly cheap.  I have not ordered the game yet so I'd be happy to get that and anything else from members or vendors on here.

As / If you collect more games you may want to consider just buying the game you want on a Tray / MPU and buy the small Eeprom(s) that are on the backplane. If I want to change a game (this is after setting it all up) I turn off machine pull out Tray / MPU then pull small EePROM from backplane (needle nose pliers work well for this) I then Install small Eeprom that goes with that game into backplane then Insert Tray / MPU into machine. Turn on machine and game comes up just like I left it when last playing. Very easy and quick to change out games if you start to collect more games.

My 3902 is very robust. It as been a great machine. It came in great great condition for a member here (Bettor Slots) I have had it for years so, extra parts not sure but the other folks here will chip in on this.

I also figured out why my fan is so loud.  This is the one one the side, the other 2 fans are just really dirty but I am going to replace them too.

That is a SOIC. You need a 8 pin dip. It doesn't have to be Microchip brand. Others will work. I use Atmel AT24C16.

I didn't even pay attention to the pin position on that one.  These ones look like the right ones, not sure if one is better then the other.  I do not see the Atmel brand on Mouser, only microchip.
