I found this game and I want to restore it

has anyone seen ever seen such a thing?

it does not have a processor or a microcontroller !?

and I wonder if there shouldn't be 3 boards on the extension, I only have two

For now, I'm replacing the capacitors, that are not in the specifications ...

Let us know what happens after you replace the caps, if it shows any signs of life.
I'll see if I can dig up another member that may know about this. Is there any type of ID tag on the side, or anywhere?

Found 1 cap in power source bad, gen. ilumination,

rest caps not shorten, apart from the reels stop control, no life sign,

if I release the lever manually, I can do a cycle, 

tilt - reset - reel stop - hooper start - off

with a logic analyzer I find signals on some integrated circuits in the upper left part ( reel stop timer),
and on an the e/prom on the extension card, when the rollers rotate

I don't know if it really works only with logic circuits without MPU/CPU or if something is missing (extesion card)

I did not find any technical details, pictures, diagram, on the internet about this manufacturer/model

it is very annoying, the case and the interior are in very good condition

I would be sorry if I can't fix it

In the last resort, an arduino mega could replace the brain, but it's not the same thing anymore

In between the reels, is there any "reel reader" circuity, like optics?
I've never heard of this brand "Bell Matic" made in Denmark. Google searches only show Mills Bell O matic slots.

Sorry I can't help. It's a European orphan machine. It appears that they made these things from other mfg. parts. Kind of similar to J&T, Summit and others did. He may have to dig around on some European slot websites for info.

yes, it has 5 photo diodes and 5 photo transistors on each roll that goes on 15 non-multiplexed wires

I also found the Danish link ... but that's about all the information from the internet

what I don't understand is it possible to work without a cpu, only with logic gates? has anyone else produced without a cpu? or something is missing

It does seem like it should have a processor on one of the boards. I see two eeproms but what is processing their instructions?

Those circuit boards are made exactly like Summit Coin boards, perhaps there was a company in Europe who made all the boards during the late 70s.

I think something is missing. I PM'd three of our Bally E series guys and hoping one of them might chime in here. I just thought of another and I'll send him a message as well.

Bell Matic housed their machine in a Bally cabinet. They created their own circuitry and weren’t around too long. Unfortunately their electronics have nothing in common with any Bally products and I am unable to help. Good luck!

The Summit boards are not compatible and are completely different. I have never seen a machine like yours. Almost looks like a hobbyist invention and appears to be missing a few circuit boards, likely the logic and RNG circuitry. Can't help you with this.
