Just wondering if it is possible to play some games on a 3-D monitor that one of the screens has gone out.
I have IGT G20 with a 625 board. Seems as if my machine will not let me play some games. Possibly the 3d  games? The game looks like it will play but there’s nothing in the play field it is empty. If you push a bet it will show if pay lines if you win.

Trying to resolve the same issue in a G23 MLD on my Dads machine.  You only see wins so front lcd is working but rear lcd is not.🤷🏼‍♂️

Would love to figure out a way to repair this short of replacing the mld🤷🏼‍♂️

That's a good question, but I wish you would have mention which games you wanted to load up.
Install a game and show us what the screen displays.
You wouldn't hurt anything, if it doesn't display correctly.

This is a common problem with MLD's because of the heat that gets trapped in between the sandwiched panels and destroying the inner LCD.
As you dis-assemble an MLD monitor, you can clearly see they tried to put venting holes along the sides of the sandwiched panels.
They clearly did NOT make these venting holes large enough.
The good solution is to change out the inner LCD with a new one, and make sure all four fans are new or at least spin fairly freely.
The best solution is to do above AND swap out the fluorescent backlighting with LED's instead....LED's run MUCH cooler.

I need to ask...is the inner LCD display milky in color, or blackened?

As stated above, the back panel inside the MLD (the 3d display) went out due to overheating.  This is extremely common and will always happen.  I literally swapped the internal back panel in mine yesterday.  The MLD is working perfect again.  I bought 2 replacement screens knowing the issue will come up again one day.

Where'd you get your replacement panels from?
The Samsung 22" LTM220MT05 panel's I found where about $95 bucks and free shipping from Minnesota.
No way was I going to pay $500-900 for a MLD monitor! ...>>>

I bought 2 NEW panels from https://www.enlcd.com/p/ltm220mt05-lcd-panel/

After Shipping and 10% discount it came to $280.  So cost me $140 per NEW panel.

I did not want a USED panel as per that ebay listing.

I did four MLD's in the last two weeks.
I found the cloth gloves are better to use than rubber gloves.
Doesn't leave prints when trying to just hold by the edges.

Have you ever replaced the panels on an KTL201MD-01. SMLD/G20 monitor.  Or converted to LED backlight.  I have been reading these post, and seems its all about the G23 stuff.

Probably not much different, other than sizes.
MLD's are MLD's. Multi-Liquid-or Layered-Displays.
