BB2e Tito 5v Question

I have a BB2e that functions perfectly fine, except for Tito.  So, the "Regulated 5V" led will remain lit until I plug in the DB9 Tito connector, then the led tuns off and the Tito will not work.  Is this a backplane issue or power supply?  I ran 5v from a switching power supply directly to the Unregulated 5v and was given the same result.  I don't want to replace the backplane for no reason if its not the issue.

Any insight?

UPDATE for anyone who runs into this issue in the future:

Thanks again to NLG member Eddiie for helping me figure out the issue with my Tito, I was using a USB port on the CPU unit to power the Tito, that was causing the five volt regulated power circuit to disable itself.  :applause: :hail: :thank_you:
