There's a good deal on a BB3 locally. I'd probably sell my BB2E with option for BB3 CPU to get it.

I'm curious if a NXT2 CPU will work in it, as I like many of the BB2 games.

The answer is no, no it can't. It doesn't like the touchscreen of the Blade and halts.

Bb2 uses serial touch you should be able to just swap to the old style controller.

I took apart both my monitors. One on the Blade and one on the BB2E.

The Blade uses 3M EXII-7760UC (USB) The BB2E uses EXII-7720SC (Serial)

So, I just need to find that part or likely better yet a broken BB2E Monitor so I can steal the little cables etc.

The Serial board needs to be powered up by 5V separately, as the USB version is power via USB.
