ms pacman blowing 12v fuse

I been working on an original ms pacman which has the original Midway main board...it keeps blowing the 12v fuse (near power supply).  I checked caps on main board, transistors, the jamma connector on board looks good.  It blows the fuse right away, then a "green wavy" screen appears.  What am I missing?  Bad component on the monitor chassis?  Fuses at power supply have been replaced, along with fuse holders cleaned with finger nail file.  Socketed chips all look snug and in place.  Customer wants to keep game original if possible.  Thanks in advance.

Typically this is because one of the 2 rectifier diodes have shorted.

If you have a train with an air leak you break the train in two, repressurize and see if the problem persists. Keep breaking it in half until you isolate it.

Disconnect the edge connector from the main boards. See if it still blows.
