Can not turn off Candle

Hello all,

I think this is an easy question, with an easy solution, but I cannot figure out how to reset my IGT AVP 23 Game King with the Candle flashing a steady white on the top of the Candle.  I have tried many times to press the Service Button and turn the Reset Key, but the Candle refuses to Reset.  It just continues to flash steadily on the top of the Candle without any changes.  I know that I must be missing a step, or two.   :fryingpan:
Can anyone assist me in getting the candle back to normal, which would be off until an event occurs that makes the candle come back on?

Hmm...ok...play one complete game...the candle should turn off.
If not, with the door closed, turn the jackpot reset key once and see if any errors messages come up on the LCD.

Well, I did not have to play another game since we have been playing the slot machine while the candle flashes.  However, you fixed the problem without knowing it.  I wiggled the TITO paper back and forth in the slot, and the candle changed to a fast flashing light on top.  I played with the service button, and reset button a few times and now the candle is off, and back to normal. Son of a Gun, you DID IT!   :dancing_2: :applause: :hail:    :thank_you:  Great Job!

It's possible some dust came off of the "low paper" sensor in the ticket tray.
If you have a can of compressed air, spray it into the hole on the right-hand side of the ticket paper tray.
That will help clean the sensor.
It's too bad you didn't say what model printer you have in there.
I'd be able to show you a drawing of exactly where the low paper sensor is for your model.

By the way, did you know you posted question for your AVP G23, in the S+ section of the forum?

That's okay.... I moved it to the correct section.
There are basically two big sections on NLG...the slots with reels, and the slots with video displays.
Yours is basically a video slot machine.
