Long time member Grumpy - Ed Parsons has passed.

Cliff informed me that our long time member Gumpy - Ed Parsons has passed.
Obituary:
BELMONT ---- Edward George Parsons, 82, of Saint Lawrence Drive, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Concord Hospital - Laconia.
Edward was born on June 4, 1942, in Cambridge, MA, the son of the late Walter Parsons and Mary (Quinton) Parsons.
Edward proudly served in the US Navy. He was a gunsmith and an avid firearm collector. Edward also enjoyed cards, motorcycles, computers and cooking.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Anna Barbara Parsons; son Michael Parsons and his wife Karyn; nieces Jayne, Judy and Joann and nephew Robert II “Bobby.” In addition to his parents, Edward is predeceased by his daughter Ann Marie Parsons, brothers Robert and Calvin, and sisters Ann and Dorris.
Services with military honors will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.

I helped Ed get an old 19" Game King running back a few years ago and we've stayed in touch on and off since.  I always got a Christmas card from him, but this year sadly the card was an obituary from his wife.  Ed was in the Navy during the Vietnam war  :flag_american:.  He suffered from dementia in his later years, but still had been doing pretty good.  RIP Ed, I will miss you.

May Grumpy Rest in Power.  I have been a member of NLG for an amazing 22 years now.  Grumpy was one of my original mentors.  My condolences to those he has left behind.
