Sigma sg 150 b driver ic chips for credits meter

I got the new 7219 of chips in installed them and I get the same reading on the led display 5.5__5.  5.5__5.. I went ahead and ordered also 7221 of chips and the same response I get those fives and that's where I am at . I swapped out boards and the result is the same . I switched around the 2 led boards and I get the same result . The only thing left to do is order new 7 segment led digits or maybe the capacitors and resistor or both because no matter what I do the results are the same . I can play the game but it won't keep score or show any thing else but the fives on my led winner paid coin in display . Somebody has to of had this happen before or heard of it happening . Ok let's say I can't get these 2 boards to work for my coin in and winner paid led display, is there a way to hook up a external display or something that will show this info . W
It's no fun to play a game if you don't know what your winning and what not . And yes the vfd display is working . So if there is a way to hook up A external display I would sure like to know about it please , I appreciate your guys time and knowledge .

I have never seen a post of anyone encounteri this but it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened, nor does it mean the person it happened to is on this forum.
Any time I see an LED readout giving the same result no matter what’s happening I think the readout is not getting the code from the board…assuming we know the readout does work. Too bad you don’t have another machine you can connect that readout to.

Well it's not the mpu because I pulled out another good board  and I put all the chips in and I still got same result . Im sorry I am being a pain in the butt . And I apologize and thankyou at the same time for your patience you have had with me . Do u know anything about those Adruino   kits the have that mess with the led kits

Possibly it's a little tiny capacitor or resistor

Hey maybe it's the game chips maybe the system chips because I know it's not the game   chips so maybe it's the system ones .
