Bally 5000 Plus credits

I’m not sure but based on the button deck on the machine I think there must be a way to change the payout. It spits coins out on wins. Can it be changed to credits instead?  I pushed the change button like an IGT Splus but didn’t change anything

Not 100% sure but I think you need the keypad to make that adjustment

Go to Game Optioning #11 and change it from (0000) to (0001).
All wins will go to credits.

Very helpful information. I must be missing something, under test function I have only test options 1-10 after 10 it goes back to 1. How to I get to option 11?

Maybe the pocket guide isn't the one for your Bally 5000...Hmm

You can only do the diagnostic checks 1-10 with machine only. The keypad is needed to enter machine options. Credit setup is option 27. Can be set to
“No credits”
“Credits only”
“Player selectable “

The Bally 5000 plus is an oddball

It has 10 pins on the keypad and 16 keys on it, I think it may work.
