Reel Light Replacement Question

Hello,

I have a Bally 3 reel S9000 that currently has Blazing 7's loaded.  I noticed that in the middle reel that one of the lights is not working.  In all of my other machines that would be jut a bulb replacement, but this one has the integrated LEDS.  Can I just but a new board and plug it in our does the whole reel need to be replaced?

You could for sure replace the board, however before making a purchase I would reseat the reels incase if one of the connections came loose.

Maybe post a photo of your reel part number.

Before you think it's burned out, do the following...

Last month I had the middle LED out on Reel 1. I pushed the reel into the connector and still had the problem. The screws that hold the reels in place was too tight causing the connection to tilt to the left, so the right side was a little higher. Unscrew the the connector press the connection and make sure its flat. HAND TIGHT the screw and make sure its flush and not coming up on one side.

In my case, that worked!
