Payout Coins On Wins?
« on: December 11, 2014, 02:32:02 am »
I just installed the coin mechanism into my machine. Its 25 cent denom coins. I put the coin in and it stops at the very top, behind where you put the coin to compare. If I lift the round silver lever the coin will come out , but it will go into the coin tray.  The green light is on , but nothing is happening.

Did you put a sample coin in the slide on the comparitor?
I've removed the thumb screw from that entry arm at the top of the comparitor before when coins wouldn't drop

Coins are stopping at the entry arm. I have a quarter in the comparitor as a sample

Are you sure you don't have the comparitor pushed in the mount too far. Try pulling the comparitor assy back from the mount, see if it pops in place.

Like I said, I've taken the thumb screw out of the entry arm before because it just seemed to be to much weight. Check your coin path alingment and maybe pull the comparitor out and see if a coin pushes through that way. Might be something else causing it but the thumb screw weight can do it

I took out the arm that stopped the coin from going through (the arm with the weight). So then I tried another coin and then it went "DING" . I was so happy. I thought it was defective or something. Now Sometimes the coin would fall back in the coin tray or not count the credit and display a coin in error. What I did then  was adjust the sensitivity. I am no longer having any problems at the moment . All coins seem to be crediting and dropping into the hopper.

 :thank_you:   For helping me.

Another question... Coin will dispense during a cashout , but not during a win.  If I make a win, the credit adds  up in the credit window.

My question is.. Can I set it to dispense coins on a win?

cash/credit button push it, and it will turn off, then every pay will come out of hopper.

Oh, S2000, sorry thought you were talking about an S+.  I think if you set the credit limit to like 1, then it's all coins in and out.

The s2000  doesn't use the CASH/CREDIT Button, ( maybe a few SG Chips allow it but I have not seen one yet) You can set the hopper limit so it isn't on zero, and it will pay the credits out that is on the meter when you cash out to the hopper,  You can set the credit limit to be a really low setting, like just a few credits, this will make it work to use the hopper  but that will seem make the Bill limit also max out at what you set that low credit limit to as it needs to be set lower or equal to the credit limit,  I had played with this this week. On my Dollar 2 coin machine I set coins to go to game, hopper limit to 400, credit limit to 2, and this caused the machine to pay out of the hopper up to 400 coins, and forced all wins to pay out of the hopper up to 400.

Too bad it also forced the bill Limit to 2, Tried to use the 3.3.2 Bill pay Mode  = Hopper always but no matter what I did I could not get that on my menu.

Hope that helps..

Well it works, thank you. My machine is a quarter machine. It's a 2 coin machine. So if I set the credit limit to $0.25 cents it will only accept 1 quarter per game, so it won't give me that 2nd credit bonus. It will not let me insert more coins. If I change the credit limit to $0.50 cents, it will only take two coins per game.

So if the credit limit is higher than $0.25 , then nothing will payout from the hopper on a win. Instead it will go to the credit limit.

Anyway to put as many quarters as I want and still payout from the hopper on a win?

Glad it worked,  hopefully someone else with more knowledge than me can answer your last question more directly.

Here is another fun coin option to play with.

 Coin-In  [7.1.10.2]) from the KeyChip I Menu

• Coins to game only – coins inserted after the machine exceeds the
maximum bet are returned to the player

• Coins to game and credit – coins inserted after the machine
exceeds the maximum bet will be added to the credit meter until
the machine exceeds the credit limit

• Coins to credit only – all coins inserted will be added to the credit
meter

I can't get into that options menu . I hit spin reels button and it doesn't do anything . Do I have to key chip it first in order to see the menu?

Yes that is a menu you need a key Chip for.
