UV-1700 RAM clearing method(s)

A Great day to All. I’ve got some confusion going on in My head here,(Normal). As I go through reading different threads, I’ve become either confused by the terminology or Maybe there’s different ways to RAM clear a UV-1700. I’ve been told to do this “DALLAS ALL CLEAR”, I did and when I ago to fire it back up I keep getting a “FILE SYSTEM GENERIC” error. So reading On I’m supposed to try clearing everything. Well can Anyone explain how this is done or works?
I have 2 different types of Clear chips that are for UV-1700 supposedly. They are shown in the pictures included. One is a “DALLAS ALL CLEAR” and the other I don’t have a clue what/where/how this is used.
I appreciate Any teachings that Someone can provide me.

Dan and I worked on this machine today, I just wanted to add some pictures, he was able to successfully do a Dallas all clear ut we aren’t sure where to put the other set chip, the board referenced in the Sigma manual doesn’t match the board in the machine.
We are stuck at File System Generic.

Hoping we can get some direction on this.

This is great information, thank you.
According to this document,  the FF digital readout indicates the game should be running.

Will have to spend some more time on this.
