G23 top monitor not working

Turned on g23 this morning and the top monitor is not working. Anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? If it needs to be replaced how much do these cost?

If it's not powering on, likely the power supply. I it is powering on but not lighting, check the inverter. I have a spare working monitor. PM me if interested.

The game wouldn't come up if the AD board didn't get any power.  It is most likely a backlighting issue. Inverter or LED backlight issues.

I had one IGT AVP G23 topbox get too warm from a dead fan.
I replaced the fan and everything seemed okay for awhile...wasn't any issues with the monitor - until later on.
That top monitor would sometimes not turn on.
I would open it up, raise it and it would come on?
When I closed it, it would turn off.  :Scratch-Head:
So, I swapped out the DVI cable for another one and haven't had any problems with it.  :cool_thumb_up:
In my case, somehow the DVI cable went bad.
It's something to check anyways.
