GEN2 Printer for BB2 (need 2)

The printer in my BB2 does not work - and apparently I bought the wrong one as a replacement.    So, now I need a GEN2 printer with netplex firmware (test ticket should say PSA-66-001N) along with the cable to the backplane. And yeah, I need two.

You can use the one you bought, you just have to move 2 jumpers on the board under the paper tray, and then get a harness for a RS232 printer. The jumpers are located next to the plug where the harness plugs into the printer. Just pull them from their current position and place them on the other "opposite" pins.

Awesome - I presume you're referring to J20 and J21. I swapped the jumpers and I'm going to boot up my BB2 and test it now.

It did not work. Still get "Printer com error", device id 0.

Probably has the wrong firmware loaded in the printer. Should have GNUSA7510 for WMS. The printer was probably pulled from an IGT game and has different firmware.

And thank you for your help, I don't have a programming cable or the software, so its probably easier for me to just buy the right printer with the right firmware loaded. I have both a BB1 and BB2, neither of them have a working printer. Otherwise I could swap parts around until I could positively identify the problem.
