cpu question

I have bb1 with a cpu-nxt can i replace it with a cpu-nxt2 that has the hard drive in it ? I know it will drop right in, just wasn't sure if there are other things to consider.
I'm still new to slot machines.

A CPU-NXT2 will fit just fine in a BB1. Just remember that certain OS cards will run with certain BIOS and certain games have to stay with in their OS Family.

For Example, Gold Fish is OS Family G1.3 meaning you can't use an H9.27 OS with a G1.3 Game. WMS is very picky with what can be in the machine unlike Bally.

1. super jackpot party, 256mb, 6769-020451-00-02 with OS SDCFB-64-202-00, 601027N
2. lucky lemmings, S597-000-1000, OS fam. G1.3 with OS SSOS-000-1490 v1490 OS Family G!.3

Lucky Lemmings will only work with a BB1 CPU.

As for Super Jackpot Party what is the OS Family on it? EX: H9.1, G1.3,

You’re welcome and by the way I did take a look on that number you provided and your super jackpot party is OS Family h9.1, should work on a NXT CPU but will work on a CPU NXT2

Well, maybe i will upgrade, the machine is labeled for jackpot party, i really doubt i will be switching games back and forth. just save the lucky lemming game for something else down the road.
