Reel kick adjustment

Hi All,
I've finally got my "unused for 50 years" 968 Super Bars working well with the exception that the reel kick is poor.  I've tinkered a little with the stop bracket and also the nut on the trip lever drive shaft and it doesn't seem to improve anything.  I've popped a video on youtube showing

- reels spinning a couple of times.  Sometimes a reel stops by itself before the wipers kick in.
- actuating the mech without the reel pack in
- pushing the trip levers manually to show they spring back easily with some good spring

The reel pack itself is nice and free, the reels spin really well.  Suggestions for what to check / adjust next greatly appreciated.  I've watched the video of the reels action on cdyn.com and looked at a couple of other videos on youtube but no luck.  I've never needed to tinker with this on any of my other machines so don't want to make anything worse!

It appears that the machine kicks the reels with normal force.
But the reels appear to have a resistance pressure.

The machine looks real clean. But cleaning all the levels under reels might help.

Try cleaning reel mechanism #2 really well then lubricate with light machine oil.
Run the machine and observe any difference in speed on #2 reel.

Doh, sometimes it's the simple things.  The reel pack seemed to spin very well out of the machine, but seems it could spin even better - I took the reels off the shaft, cleaned, lightly lubed and all is good now.  Was the only part I hadn't done, so it should have been obvious really!
