Sigma Gaming Mechanical Derby Horse Racing Table

Does anyone know where I can find a Sigma Gaming Mechanical Horse Racing Game that is like the photo I attached? I am looking to buy one for a work project. I understand those Derby horse racing games are hard to find, especially now. Any advise, or any ideas of who may have one would be greatly appreciated

The last time I saw that cool horse racing game was in 1991, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. 
I thought I saw it at the Imperial Palace back then but it was so long ago. I guess it was downtown.

Played one at circus circus in 1976 on the bi-centennial 4th of July.  I remember someone yelling- "Take the whip to him Willie".  Fun game.

I heard The D has classic machines in a downstairs area. I thought someone said they have/had one of these within the past 10 years.

Look at their website, they even promote it as the last surviving example in LV. I hate going to downtown now but to see this I might have to endure the madness. I suspect you have to be some form of a club member to get into their vintage area.

While this would be cool to have - I get far more use out of my pool table. In a large party where a playing pool is not practical I have built rails and turn it into a craps table or put my roulette wheel out on it. Unlike a pool table which can be brought down without its legs on it. I would be significantly scared of taking this apart and turning it sideways to get it through the door.

The mechanical life of this unit at this time must be getting short .. whoever owns it in the future had better be skilled in remanufacturing bits and bobs.

I am sure this unit drives traffic to the second floor of the D - to the vintage area. I however just can't see the millennials being in anyway interested.
Even modern 3/5 wheel slots are no longer attracting this crowd.

The only one I've been able to come across is the one at the D hotel, and they aren't interested in selling. It is a very rare game to come across, so I really appreciate the replies and support from everyone. Sounds like my boss will have to find someone to rebuild something similar to one. If anyone comes across any new information, no matter what condition the game may be in, I'd love to know about it if you can.  Thank you all so much for this! The extra information is very helpful.

Glad you visited NLG as I suggested to you.

At Games of Nevada Micky had 5 of them in his back room.
He gave me one small racing horse and wanted me to design a different way to mount it to the game.
2 weeks later he died. I'm not sure what his family did with his games but I do know he donated all of his documents to the Las Vegas museum.
His uncle said I could contact the museum to borrow the schematics but I never pursued it.

I am actually working on a Sigma Derby clone myself. I don't know of any for sale, but I do have several pictures of a machine from the Philippines that was torn down and rebuilt a few years ago.

I also have a ton of pictures from other clones and variations.

I plan on using Arduinos and/or ESP32s to handle most of the heavy lifting. As well as 5 NEMA 17 stepper motors to move the horses around the track

I don't mean I'm working on a variation of the game. I mean I'm working on my own version from the ground up. But yes, I have heard about the Chariars version at Caesars as well as the Camel version at Excalibur (which I have pictures of).

Almost all of the Sigma Derby games wound up in south and central america. Start poking around down there and maybe you could find one.
