Help me identify this machine on Offerup

I should know this but Im not sure, is this a Bally 5000 series or earlier?
I know its not worth $1000 so I need to get all my ducks in a row before I go popping her bubble!

I think it's an E series? If there is PC boards inside , it's definitely E series.  Or look on the plate on the lower right side and see if it haves for example,   E1XXX or E2XXX. E series still has a lot of mechanical to the reels, no stepper motors. $50 - $100

Looks like an E1000, possibly an E2000.  It's also a "JPO" (Jackpot only) machine, which is very boring for home use.  It takes a lot of of patience and passion to keep an "E" Series machine running consistently.  I would only consider it if it were a 'fruits & bars' machine, and A LOT cheaper.  You'd be doing her a favor at any price, 99% says it is not functional.  The belly glass is worth something though and maybe some other parts.

You are on the money. She said its date is 1980 and needs the reels greased.
Its a “run away” for me!

I have a hard time on the ballys, they all look the same to me until they changed that stepped chrome plate with round button on front.
