Machines/Cabinets that you feel are rare or hard to find

This is a topic I have a lot of fun discussing so I thought I’d say something. IMO a very hard to find cabinet in terms of info, parts, anything for me is the Bally Alpha 2 reels cabinet. While you can find some sitting in casino floors still nowadays? Actually finding parts or a conversion kit is extremely difficult especially info on the firmware for the reels and part numbers and such. Even certain games had special reel glass for this cabinet like Hot Shot, Kings Crown, etc. The only easy things to find in this cabinet is really just software, inserts and strips as they are the same from Upright/Elite/Alpha 1

This whole cabinet is my dream cabinet but unfortunately I’ll never find a conversion kit.

Anyways what do some of y’all feel that are rare games/cabinets? I want to hear

I’ve found the WMS BB2 3 reel transmissive parts very hard to come by. There seem to be a few 5 reel monitors out there, and a couple of reel control boards, but the three reel monitors and reels are hard to find. I found one vendor that had some complete machines for sale, so bought a couple to have the parts.

Good on you for that! I side with you on BB2 Transmissive 3R being hard to find since you barely see any out there especially the few games that ran on CPU-NXT 3.2 (Wonka, Flintstones, Wizard of Oz)

I was a huge Bally Guy but WMS has really grown on me yet is still a massive learning curve. It feels like every day I do something new on my BB2 I almost break something or do everything wrong… almost pulled my hair out but getting the hang of it.

As for Bally A2 reels… probably the best way I’ll get an A2 reels cabinet is buy an A2 v22/Curve and then get a conversion kit if that ever is come by. Thankfully those payline & 7-Segment LEDs are the exact same from A1 upright or Cinereels, some may have a 2006 copyright while others have a 2009 one.
