Drop door D

All sudden I am faced with drop door D issues on converted bb1 to 2 that’s been working happily for years. I saw a post on here about a blue jumper. I cannot find any connector close in this machine that started this or another one next to it. I do see the main connector and there is that one loop on it.  I have unplugged and plugged that plug to ensure a firm tight lock. Door D never leaves me. What advice does anyone have?  I say i read the post I unplugged the main door and key switches block I follow those wires out and there is absolutely no connectors or jumpers anywhere near where it connects to the backplane.

I have no issue going in and cutting and jumping somewhere but what pin? Where ?  I’m comparing my still working machine wires 1:1 and can’t come up with a difference. This started when my rubber band on logic box popped and i removed the bb2 computer removed the switch and taped it on forever.  I had logic door error and that is gone but since that went out this drop box D is a permanent fixture.


I built this from a bb1 shell year ago and it’s been fine I’m not understanding why?

Ok. Sorry I found it.  I thought I’d tell so others can also look.  I started looking over my other machine and found the connection with jumper under the cardboard where power comes in.  I realized I had a bundle wires like that with a switch.  It was taped on however one the spade connections had come mostly loose on it.  I crimped the loose connection tighter and connected to that switch looked like a common door switch but yeah it was loose.  I never expected that switch that been laying in machine for ages to come loose. And it should be a jumper anyway! I may just cut the spade terminals off and wire them 2 black wires together. They are the same ones jumper in my other machine but they have a connector. I never used that switch it was in the case taped in since i found the bb1 stripped in the junkyard. Whoda knew. Moral is even if you don’t have a jumper look for a switch.  Haha probably when my rubber band on logic box failed and I removed brain to take out switch to defeat it permanently I likely pulled that cable slightly as they are connected. That likely made the loose spade connection disconnect.



Alls well in slot land again. Was a day of fighting and swearing WTF#%}~>*^%
