NEWBIE - I'd like to find out more about my new (to me) machine.

I'd like to find out the major differences/pros cons to the G20 vs G23 and how to learn more about my new to me machine. Which model it is (pretty sure a G20) what games I can get or change out (fingers crossed on Little Shop of Horrors). Are there manuals? How to I install a Ticket reader and printer. Already has a bill acceptor that works. I'm so excited for my first slot machine.

It's dirty/dusty so I'll be giving it a good cleaning but everything seems to work just fine. I'm going to be changing the batteries out so those are fresh. What else should I do?

Do you have a eKey and 14-21 diag usb?  If not you will need them.  Don't change any batteries (except the 3 pack) or you will have to reinstall stuff.  You will also need them to add games.  Show pic of inside of lower monitor to see if it is 3D or not.  G20 and G23 only diff is screen size and g23 has better sound.  Either one could have a 3d monitor or not.  You also need to see if the brainbox has an added video card or not to see what games it can handle.  Looks like it may be a game king with no 3d monitor or video card.

This is a pic of the lower monitor label. Is that what you're looking for? Also where is the best place to get the key etc.? The 3 pack of batteries you are referring to is that the 2032 style batteries? If so that's what I was referring to.

Yep non-3D 20" monitor.  Swapping 2023 batteries will require games to be re-enabled with ekey7.  So you know ekey7s run about 350-400 bucks right now.

Wow...okay so don't replace the batteries until I have to. And either invest in the Ekey7 or just have the local slot repair company do it. Out of curiosity why the high cost for the eKey7 software? Supply and demand?
