I'm restoring a Mills Roman Head and could use a set of CC-207 reel strips. Anyone have a recommendation of who sells them? Is Rick Frink still in business? I sent him an email but have not heard back from him. Thanks!

Glad to hear things worked out. Reminds me that I need to send them an order for a friend's Mills FOK that I will be working on. Oh, I believe you are now obligated to post a photo of your machine when you put the new strips in.

Got the strips from Rick/Mrs Frink and put them in. The first pic shows reels 1&2 with the new strips and reel 3 with the original. Second pic is the finished slot.

Much nicer!!

Funny... antique wooden furniture loses a lot of value when people sand, clean (too much) or refinish it. But slot machine are generally worth much more when fully restored.

I've got a follow up question to the Roman Head restoration. I have found that many cherry-cherry-orange combinations are paying five instead of three. Not all, but many of the oranges pay five instead of three when appearing on the third reel. Also, at least one Gold Award symbol pays five instead of three when combined with two preceding cherries.

Are mystery pays like this this normal or typical of Roman Head machines or has my machine been modified to pay out more? Any ideas?

Have you set up other win situations to see if they are correct? This is just to insure your reel strips are in correct.
I'll reach out to Ed... he's the expert here. Hopefully he'll chime in soon.

All other pays appear correct. Only the two cherries paying 5 with an orange or Gold Award symbol on reel three. And not all oranges on third reel. Only some.

I think your payout disc might be slightly mis-aligned. Can you post a photo of the back of the machine with the door off showing the payout discs? Also, when it does this "odd pay" can you post a downward photo showing the vertical payout fingers where they are hitting the payout discs?

In most of your photos it shows the 3rd reel symbols were mis-aligned. So, I think this may have carried over when you installed the new strips.

What are you seeing when you say the third reel seems misaligned? When I installed the new strips, I set the machine for the Gold Award payout, then installed the strips from there. It happened that all three strips' seems aligned when set in that position, so I assumed they were correct. Also bar-bar-bar is paying correctly, etc.
