New Idea/invention Help?

I thought that title would get your attention... :rotfl: 

So, if one were to have an idea for a new app/invention/thingamajig....how would you advise one to go about pursuing that if they had no real app development experience or knowledge?


I know what your thinking...and I've seen a MILLION apps and websites that BEG the question of "How in the world is this even occupying my screen right now!?!?!?" And I'm not going to tell you that this idea is any different (as it may very well not be). Just looking for some general direction, because, as a few of you know, I live in somewhat of a hole (well, a self-created hole of slot parts).


Ay advice/direction is greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

If you have no programming experience, there are companies that will develop your app for you under your direction.  Just google iphone or android app development and talk to a few of them to see what they have done, etc.  Pick the one you are comfortable with, have them sign NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements) and off you go.
