Bally slot machine.

Hello everyone,
I have been very busy with: MVA, roofing my house in the snow, A couple of medical issues, and an escaped cat. All have been resolved and I am still: locksmithing, safe and vault work.
On to this Bally slot machine. My wife is going to murder me if she finds out about it.  I found it for $150 and it looks "mostly" complete, tomorrow I will pick it up.

if I had to guess .... I don't?   like that's gonna stop me :-)

looks like a conversion from a 742A machine into a single coin 1090-1-ish machine.   Or looking at it a different way, it's a 742A with added right->left pay.

things you'd want to look at:
- 20 stop reel tapes/index disks?
- index disc codes
- payout counter m-645-xxx number
- reel wiper board wiring and which wiper fingers are connected together ... it's likely similar to the 1090-1

adding right->left pay is mostly just rewiring the reel wipers/boards if you have index discs that can support all the needed tape symbols.   Typically the gotcha on a 742A is no support for a cherry on reel 3, but often there's other symbols the original machine had that you don't need and can hijack the index disc slot depth for a cherry.

chasing the cat and roofing should have ya fit enough to stay a couple steps ahead of your wife when she comes after ya swinging the cast iron pan ...
