Used the old reel disc for the pattern.
The objective was to eliminate 3 or 4 lemons on the third reel.

Haven't talked to you lately.
That can be done, however it takes a,long time to file those slots. 25 depths on each disc X 3. A total of 75 total depths, the depth have to be exact.

I talked to my son who is making the three disks, it has a lead time of six weeks. I can wait for it.

I assume your son is using some kind of laser cutter/cnc machine to make the discs.

if you can pry it out of him, try and get the data and cad files needed to program the machine. In theory, it should be possible to generate the data files needed once the basic data for the disc and the possible slot depths are known. e.g. all 25 stop discs are the same except the depths of the slot at any position.

22 stop may be the same as 25, but 20 stop discs are slightly different diameter.

It's my son, he owes me plenty, I am still holding the wrecked truck over his head when he was 20, that was 15 years ago.

I temporary installed the reels. I want the machine to stay clean in the shop. I am still waiting for the reel discs to be manufactured.

Today I found a cabinet, its perfect, a drawer for the coins to drop into, and locks. Nothing needs to be done except mount the slot machine. I will put a wall mount to the slot machine making it safe.

So, the issue is the Corbin locks, they can't be keyed to the rest of the machines. Replacing them is out of the question since Corbin cabinet locks are very old, and the quality is awesome. So I keyed them alike, however the keys are almost non existent. Fortunately I have a few. These can be serviced, they have slotted head screws throughout, easy peasy.

Some locks are not easy, they are basically riveted together making the work impossible, or the keys are non existent, or both.

Been getting the cabinet assembled. I needed to adjust the drawer to fit the wiring from the slot machine.

Still working on the cabinet. I don't butcher the slot machine power cord, it has a molded plug, cord assembly.

I have a external toggle switch, a power setup inside of the cabinet. All of my slot machines are built this way.

I have been working on the sign above the slot machine. Using several other slot machines, I formulated a sign.

The sign base is completed. I wired it up installing a transformer and the starter.

ya gotta say where you ordered it from, how much it cost and if it met your expectations!

there's various places that print onto plexiglass (e.g. shutterfly) ... the trick is getting the color saturation and translucency good enough. It may not look exactly like the original screened ink looks, but if it doesn't look washed out and light comes thru so you see the colors, that's a win.
