Alpha2 Curve - Stuttering Performance (1-5 second lag)

Hey guys

Have a weird issue that came out of nowhere. The machine will have a "temporary" lag, basically after anything happens. If I do a spin, it spins normally, then "freezes" for 1-5 seconds after the spin is completed. Also noticed this when navigating around in the menus.

Here is what I've done:

- Clear
- Full Hard Drive swap, format and reload
- Cleaned out all fans, etc. in case of heat issue

What I haven't done:

- Replaced alpha2 cpu (ugh, hope not)
- Replaced Ram
- Replaced Video Card

Any ideas what could be the cause? It has been working fine, then all of a sudden this started to occur.

You might try reseating the video card.

Good point, is there any trick to getting it out? I feel like I'm missing something. I took the two nuts out that hold the card in place (to the front plate), but can't seem to figure out how to take it out from there. I'll go give it a shot and send a pic. I appreciate the help bud.

Do you have a TITO board installed?  Try setting it up without TITO to see if the problems goes away. If it does, you may have an issue with the serial port or the TITO board serial port.

Yeah, tried with and without TITO, same result (sadly)

Was able to reseat video card, did the same for ram. Booting now, crossing fingers and toes

Awesome - Reseating the video card did the trick!

You guys are the best, thanks for hopping in so quickly with some suggestions. The machine was literally about to be picked up for a customer and I was ready to cancel and refund on him. I really appreciate the support, seriously.
