G23 lower panel light

Got a new to me G23 and have been playing around with it today. I can’t get the lower panel light to come on. It appears to be all hooked up but it will not come on. Is it replaceable?

If you'll notice the year dated on that drawing..."2013".
I'm going to guess the bulb or LED panel is burned out...would you agree?

Try opening and closing the belly panel door again.
Check the connections to the light as well, for any pinched/broken wires.
Check the wiring harness with a multimeter for continuity with a multimeter.
Turn ON the power switch and check that same harness for voltages.
Check the lamp/led panel for continuity...yes, with a multimeter.
If you don't have a digital multimeter, go buy one at Harborfreight...stop guessing...>>>

It is a led panel, I took it apart last night. 2 wires in the plug I’ll check continuity and voltage tonight. I've tried finding a replacement online. Anyone know where to get a new led panel?

Yeah...I just took mine apart...it has like 30 LEDs on it.
Dated 2011 but still works.  :cool_thumb_up:
I get 23.2 VDC coming out of the harness with the machine powered ON and the belly door open.

Searching for it online using the LED strip part numbers (7518100W A) didn't help...I ended up buying super bright LEDs for my garage from Amazon!
At least it's coming with free shipping!  :24:

I would get ahold of these guys.
All they do all day long is rip apart machines...for parts.

I also get 23.7 volts dc at the plug, but my light assembly looks different. Googling the part number brings up nothing. Pictures of light below.

Hmm...iLight Technologies made that one you have.
They've must of been hired by WMS to make these LED panels.
Totally different from the five I have here but same voltage.
I imagine you can use anything similar that runs on 24 VDC.
Might have to be creative with the power connection and mounting that's all.

I got it working, turns out the plug mount was broken so it would not make contact when the door was closed, I was able to shim it out and now it lights up as it's supposed to. Thanks for all the help.
Now on to the other issues.  :banghead:

Yeah...IGT had two different kinds of connectors for those AVP cabinets.
One of them I believe, was a 4 or 6-pin off-white plastic Molex housing?
The other one was a larger black plastic connector, with the two cone-shaped alignment pins.
Glad you managed to get it to work.
