IGT PE Plus top glass (Plexiglass) with BV Slot

I know its a long shot but I bought this machine at auction and the door was closed while the BV was aligned incorrectly and it split the plexiglass.

The BV is vertical in the top glass.

Wow most of the early PE+ had the SideCar Bill validators on them.
I have never seen one in the top box before.
I could be wrong but that looks to be custom configuration along with Custom glass.
I am by far not the definitive source in this matter.

In my newer PE+ my MPU Tray is across the top but there is a gap on the right that potentially could house a validator. Not too sure how the cash can would work.
I think I have seen some PE+ with the MPU down the left hand side on the bottom cabinet which would give more space up top.
I would love to see the inside.

I can do that. Its very interesting, the BV frame has a peg that fits into a hole on the bottom of the top box so you can pivot the entire unit out. The cash can works perfectly sideways…the whole thing works great.

I have never seen one either. I tried to remove the vinyl artwork so I can transfer to another piece of plexi but only the clear layer is vinyl. The plexi appears to be printed with the exception of the pay chart.

As promised, here are some pics.
Funny story. I set the machine under my back patio to do some cleaning and a few hours later there was a colony of bees exploring the holes in the box and starting to move in. I was out there burning tiki torches and stuck incense inside it to discourage them. I had to plug all the holes.
