WMS BB3 help please

I just ram cleared and installed a new game on the BB3. Turned it off and after dinner,  turned it back on. Now screens say no signal. Then another square with "go to power saving  mode" pops up.  What are the basic things I should be checking for? Whats wrong with it? Lol

Need more information...what's the candle doing?
See Page.4-2 in the Service Manual and User Guide.


Ohh...I made a mistake...I was looking at the BB2 manual....you have a BB3.
Oh well...maybe the candle codes are the same.

Well...just swapped the CPU. I know screens are fine because it was showing the boot,nand now screen goes to no signal, then goes into power save mode, the sits for a few minutes and reboots. Suggestions on what else I should be checking? I am new to the BB3 repair world so any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Going to try power supply today. Taking it from my BB2. I will let you know. Checked all the wires, nothing burnt. Used new in box video card, no change.frustrating, but determined to figure it out.

Well...changed the power supply and now the machine hasn't rebooted,  but on initial start, it went right back to no signal and go into power save mode. Uuuugh!!! Anything else I should check?

Whelp....not long after I posted no rebooting, it did a reboot and does intermittently. Now what?

Now I was able to clear fully. Turned off the machine, put in OSCard and game, and now after rebooting 5 times, I am sitting here scratching my head. As I was sitting here scratching, I was surprised the door alarm went off. Looked at the screen and it was on the configuring screen. Pushed the butting to go in and configure, and it rebooted on me. Ahhhhhh......why me!

There was a recall on E4690 video cards in NXT 3.2 CPU's which can cause similar behavior.

Might check your video card and see if it's an E4690. 

A previous thread with similar issues like this has all the info and a PDF showing how to test if you do have an affected video card installed in your machine.
