Reel Touch Checksum error press F1 to continue

Hi
Just switched top boxes with a different game in one of my machines. Set the time, loaded optimized defaults, game came up and played well. Problem is, when I turn the machine off and then on again, I have to hit F1 to get past this checksum error for the video topbox to boot every time I turn the machine on. How do I get past this error?

Dan,
Your top box battery is dead. Replace it and perform the date and optimized defaults again and you should be good.

Changed battery, it was 2.1v, and same thing, I keep getting the checksum error. I'm gonna keep messing with it & see what else may be causing it. Thanks Dan

That is a 2032 battery it needs to be 3V.
 2.1 is dead. Are you sure you saved the CMOS bios memory after battery change? Try reinstalling battery check polarity.
