Befuddled new member intro

Newbie here, not only to this site but new to slot machine ownership too. I like slot machines, but I don't like giving them my money, so I bought one. It's an IGT 20 AVP 3.0 loaded with Davinci Diamonds game.

It arrived and wasn't damaged, I got it set up and running (thanks YouTube). But I noticed right away that the main screen was very yellow-tinted. Also, the lever to open the main door didn't always work, I would have to try and try and try, it was all wonky. When I called the seller they basically told me that the machines they sell aren't perfect, they're going to have 'some imperfections'. They're kindly going to send me a DVI cable to fix the yellow tint even though I told them I had already determined it wasn't the cable. Well anyway, since I have mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience I decided to try to fix things myself.

The yellow tint was solved with a new video card. Yay!

The door lever issue was fixed by replacing missing fasteners (found in the bottom of the inside of the machine) and adjusting the key-operated cam. Yay!

And while I was fixing things, I took every advantage to clean out years of dust, dirt and debris/detritus wherever I found it. But then...

When I got everything back together and booted up (yes, I do get a POST beep), after the splash screen the machine no longer loads the game (Davinci Diamonds), instead I get a message that I need to insert my ekey to continue. I don't yet have one of those but it's on the way along with a diagnostic. When they get here, if things aren't intuitive, I may need some help. I've already tried to prepare myself by watching  YouTube videos but they all fall short on explanations. They all just stand in front of the machine and point and say to select this, never mind about that, scroll down and select this, and on and on without ever really discussing what they're doing or why. So I may need some hand-holding once I get into the process. I also don't understand all the slot-specific lingo and acronyms, so if there's a cheat sheet somewhere on that stuff I could sure use it.

At this point all I can say is I'm definitely hooked now. I want to get this machine in proper working order and to understand all I can about its operation and maintenance. I really appreciate this forum and will be using it quite a bit, I'm sure!
