Wild Thing SB Chip

I read an old post on the old site that stated the problems with Wild Thing SB Chip (SB100108), caused the anomalies with sound and back-lighting, where fixed with SB100488.  Will that chip work with SG000363 and VS011NX5?  I ask because I bought one and when I swapped the chip I get a System Error and after JP Reset, Test Switch and Close Door, it goes right back to System Error.  I also tried Clear Chip 97 and Key Chip 17, but it still goes right back to the System Error.  I sent the chip back and was told that it was tested and is a working chip, he also has not had a chance to test it with a SG00363 chipset yet.  Will it work or should I ask for a refund?  Thank you very much for any help with this.

It should definitely work with SG363s & VS011NX5. All chips should be 120ns or faster.

I just ran into that problem yesterday. After process of elimination it ended up being a bad simm card. Never had that one before. Was not able to clear machine, kept coming back with system error.

It works fine if I put the old SB Chip (SB100108) back in and run the JP Reset, Test Switch and Close Door.  Well it still lights and plays sound when it shouldn't.  But it plays fine with the old chip put back in.

When you say simm card are you talking about the new SB Chip that he sent me?
