IGT G20 Cabinet Light Blinks Fast

Newbie here. The cabinet light inside my IGT G20 slot machine blinks on and off rapidly. Based on YouTube videos I've seen I'm pretty sure it should just stay on when the door is open. Does anyone know why it's doing this or how to fix it?

If you mean the "Service Lamp", check to see if the connections are good and the bulb isn't loose in the socket?
Also check the cherry switch that allows it to come on....might be some wired tab connection being loose.

Thanks for those suggestions, I did all that but the blinky light persists. I rolled up my sleeves and dove in to try to troubleshoot. I ultimately found the electrical source was coming from the main power supply. Inside I found a leaking capacitor and another bulging one that hadn't yet started to disgorge itself all over the board. I'm ordering new capacitors (will replace all of them) and then we'll see if that was the problem. If not, I may need help from one of my electrical engineer friends to help isolate the offender.

I meant to add this photo to show the bulb's location, not two of the bad capacitor on the board. Sorry

Pull the lamp out of the socket and bend the wires on the lamp so that they will come into full and complete contact with the sockets' contacts when you push it back into the socket?

While you have the bulb out try a different bulb or see if there is a number on it, someone may have put a blinker bulb in it so it doesn't get hot.

Thanks, I looked, there's no visible writing/printing whatsoever on the bulb. But the bulb isn't the problem, it's the power supply. Working now on getting that fixed.
