Game works fine but I have no sound. Board has not been used much since purchased new from Amcoe.

Checked connections from both sides of 3 but dead on sound. Tried new speaker with same results?

Are the sound settings controlled by a mechanical dial or digitally?
On most circuit boards, you can find the sound/volume controls in a settings menu.

Would you have a better manual than this one?
There doesn't seem to be anything about sound settings in it...>>>

That's the same thing I posted.
There's no volume potentiometer dial on it.
That means the sound volume is controlled by a setting located in the options that you may be overlooking.
Are there two buttons on the cabinet that you could push to get into different options?
Post a clear photo of the cabinets' interior wiring and buttons.
NLG Member Channelmaniac works with these types of POG circuit boards.
You might want to get in touch with him for some extra help.

What is the orange potentiometer for? I’ll look at the menu again tomorrow. And I’ll get some pics

+3 goes to speaker. Negative is coming from black/white stripe #36

Checked continuity on wires and is good. Even tried taking -3 to speaker and nothing.

Used to work fine until I swapped boards from it to magical odds and back?

Checked all settings on screen..nothing there. Dip switch settings show nothing either. I’m lost

I think the orange potentiometer is for fine adjusting some voltage going to or from an IC component.
Really has nothing to do with your volume.

If you cannot find a volume control in the settings or a dial to turn, I don't know what to say except perhaps that board has a fixed volume that you cannot change.

However, if you haven't any sound, I would send off the board to Channelmaniac for possible repair work.

You might notice, no one else is responding to any of your questions.
Have you tried KLOV?
They have members there that play with POG boards.

I called Great Lakes amusement and the potentiometer (orange) is the the volume control, but no one seems to know what component tests to be run. It’s so old no one know…doesn’t say much for me.lol

Left messages for channelmaniac but no response. Does anyone know the chip that controls sound to the pot? Tested the pot, and it’s fine but no output?

Also… if anyone is interested in a Merit Chicken Draw with an extra board, it’s FREE. Machine works but the video has the same problem on both boards. I’m sure it’s an easy fix for someone. I just have no room for it.
