New DBV 200 SS BV compatible with IGT’s. This BV is NOS and has never been used, just tested. These are getting extremely hard to find in this condition. Perfect for a replacement that should be a longer term solution.

I’m thinking that this is the upgrade hardware that I need to upgrade from my dbv145 ss.  Does it come with or does it need an eprom chip too? Newbie here.

Yes the DBV-200 is a good replacement for the DBV-145. Plug and play. The DBV-200 can be either and EPROM or flash memory type which would need updated for the latest software. I do not have a DBV-200 heads for sale at this time, but I do offer service to update the DBV-200 EPROM and flash memory to latest update which will accept the new $10, 20, 50 and all old bills.

So I’m a newbie. I’m just trying to figure out how useful my DBV 145 will be in my S+ machine. Will it take any one dollar bill and that’s all? If that’s the case, I’ll just leave it as is!

I understand that the “new” bills will not work.  My real question is, just what bills are acceptable to that reader?

If the DBV-145 is in good shape, enough to scan  properly, It can be updated to accept new $20 ,$50 and all old bills

I’m looking to replace my DBV-145-SS in my IGT pe+. This one will work correct?  If so, I’ll buy it.  Please let me know how I go about doing that. Thank you in advance!
