Trouble Generating CSR on AVP After Wiping Safe Storage & Cabinet Memory

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a custom G2S host project and have wiped both the safe storage and cabinet memory on my AVP. After setting everything back up, I get to the Certificate menu where I try to generate a CSR.

The process says to insert a USB drive and press submit. I fill out all the required info on screen, and the submit button goes from greyed out to active, but when I press it, nothing happens — the status at the bottom stays “Idle.”

I’ve tried different USB drives and even wiped safe storage and cabinet memory multiple times, but I can’t get the machine to generate the CSR.

Has anyone experienced this before or know how to get the machine to actually generate and save the CSR?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe a dumb question, but are the USB drives you're trying formatted as FAT32 if your system is fam14, or formatted as NTFS if your system is fam20?

And are you plugging the USB drive into the secure USB port behind the metal door on the brainbox?

Sorry for the late reply but yeah it’s fam14 and I'm using fat32.  It’s a known good stick i use to load games into gamking and my ekey is in the secure usb port.  Should i put that in a different one and the blank stick on the secure port?
