Blackjack?
« on: August 01, 2025, 10:22:28 am »
Does anyone know of a blackjack that pays correctly? I have just a straight forward blackjack and when playing on a $10 bet for hitting blackjack you should get paid $25 back. Mine only pays $20. Same for splitting and doubling down. This game was a ripoff at the casino...lol

The IGT PE+ pays a standard 3/2 for a blackjack ... $15 for a $10 bet. Which is $25.
Yours appears to be paying even money....

Is your gamemaker set up as tokens or dollar value?
I can’t imagine a game eeprom paying “wrong”.

It takes quarters and dollars. I am not sure if it is paying g wrong or if this particular game is setup that way. If it is setup that way. The casinos made a killing off of it.

"Paying Wrong" is probably not a correct characterization.

I am sure the machine is paying as its programmed, just that the Paytable sucks.
I am as surprised as you are about it not being a proper 3/2 or even a 6/5 payback on a natural blackjack.

I agree with Jay.  The machine is not paying "wrong".  It's just paying as designed.  Just a casino's way of improving the odds - for them.

In the casinos, two machines that appear to be exactly the same could have different pay tables.  Some good and some not so good.  I would pick the machine with the best payouts.

The Blackjack games on my Game Makers all pay even money for BJ.  In a feeble attempt to compensate, I install games that have the highest percentage payouts.
