Does anyone have the Pyramid Apex Spectra S600 Firmware?

I bought several S600 bill validators on Ebay and all work except for one.  It will take all USA bills except for $1.  I programmed it with a bubble sheet and even with DIP switches and it still will not accept $1 bills.  After connecting it to Pyramid's software, it shows that all bills are USA except for the $1, which shows "CPN."  I called Pyramid to get the firmware update, but they refuse to help, because they no longer support the S600 and want me to buy a new DBV.  This is for home use and I told him that, but he still refused to help.  I even asked if blowing in 7400 firmware would work and he refused to even answer that.  Can anyone here point me to where I can find the firmware file that I need?  Or tell me if putting in 7400 firmware will kill it.  I guess I could try to JTAG a good one and blow that image into the bad one, but I want to try the normal method first.  This DBV looks brand new and it really would be a shame to have to scrap it.  I honestly think the S600 looks better than their other offerings, because it has a multi-colored LED bezel that flashes in cool patterns that you can program.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
