Red light on motherboard - KITAC - PB-S-30292

Hi everyone,

First time poster. I bought a slightly broken KITAC Pischilo slot machine. It turns on (back ground lights). But the chip indicator and payout lights don’t turn on.


Also there is a red light on the motherboard (I believe that’s what it is, it’s above the reels). Text next to the red light is LED102. The number in the top left of the motherboard is PB-S-30292.

I had to drill out the reset key because it did not come with one. But I am now able to turn it 90 degrees to engage.

When I go through a reset another light (in yellow) appears on the motherboard - LED102.

Steps tried for a reset:
1. Turn off power
2. Turn reset key to right
3. Turn on power
4. Press knob (tried just tapping it and tried holding for 5 seconds)
5. Turn key back to the left (upright)

One and only one time the machine started making some chiming sounds.

Another thing to note is that there is a solenoid that engages inside the machine where coins pass through. This will not engage. I have tried taping it shut but that does nothing.

Hope this kind of post is allowed. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am a novice at fixing these, in fact my first attempt. Thanks all!
