:rotfl:...THIS is why I asked about the software chips and SIMM cards.
It looks like the BASE and GAME chips are okay...just that CGF Risque Biz is wrong.
Sixcardmark will take care of ya!  :cool_thumb_up:

The multimedia sound SIMM is wrong too...yours is for a game called "Deep Pockets"?
I could be wrong...my list is ancient...haha

The machine reports the pxl version is C379 in this post so it looks like the SIMMs have been reflashed, but not relabeled.  C379 is correct for the other game software he has.

Ok, so what is the next step if those aren’t the problem?

Maybe someone will spot something else?

I am very grateful for everyone’s help, and I apologize if I don’t come across that way, I was just frustrated yesterday because I thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Anyways today is a new day. I’m not sure I uploaded the video correctly, but let’s give it a try.

Also, I don’t have any key chips. I’ll probably need something for the be because that doesn’t initialize.

Okay, this is what I see....it doesn't look good, I'm afraid to say, and I don't know why this is happening.
During the boot-up sequence, there's constantly 5 yellow LEDs lit up.
The LEDs behavior can tell some of our members what is happening to your MPU board (which is a computer really) by which ones are lit up.
At right around 2:25 in the video, a red LED flashes briefly, and immediately two yellow LEDs go out - leaving you 3 yellow LEDs lit.

There are guys that repair these MPU boards that you should show this to.
I especially recommend an NLG member named Lookes.
Another member named Tilt is very experienced with these I-Games....as well as few others.
I built an "Alien" i-Game machine totally from scratch with an LCD monitor, and it came out beautifully, but I don't know half of what these guys know about them.
Be patient, I'm hoping that they'll have a moment to watch your video, and try to help you with some advice.

You may need a special Keychip to clear out garbage from your system, and help you get your MPU re-initialized.
There's no question that a member by the name of RB, is your best bet for this special software.

that monitor is shutting down at about the 1:55 mark of the video. Could be the board or software. I don't think so. That isn't to say you don't have problems there but you need this game to boot to the point where you get some onscreen error. Could be the power supply. Maybe a cap sitting right on the hairy edge and it shuts down part of the supply. The board is still booting so I don't think that's it. That ceronix monitor chassis is older than the hills. This is the most likely problem. There are other things it could be lights, printers, bill validator, all of those are also a possibility but I don't think so.  My first guess is monitor board, next is power supply.

First thing to do is get the MPU tested. The LED behavior is not normal. After that you will know if it's the MPU, or most likely the monitor.  The MPU is not dead or it wouldn't be doing the gun warmup procedure. It could still be a graphics chip problem tho.
I Repair IGT 50X, 1270, 039, 044, and S+ MPU's. Contact me at slots@lookelectronics.com for more information.

Just as an fyi - I actually bought all new (not new but supposedly tested) boards, power supply and power distribution module. So I put the original power supply in and it does the same thing. Then put in the original my board back in, and same thing. I’ve done the same with the backplane and multimedia lite board and same thing. The only thing I didn’t put back in was the original distribution module, I’ll do that next.

It's not the distribution module, unless someone got inside and cocked it up. So you've ruled out power supply. You get the same problem with different MPU boards. You have a software problem, or a monitor problem or both. The only other thing is someone has been inside the cabinet and screwed things up. My guess is both software and monitor. You will not be able to proceed with diagnostics until those problems are resolved. Any attempt to move forward with a bad monitor will result in further frustration. YOu will not be able to see the onscreen errors, telling you where the problems with the machine are.

I agree with hotlsot.  Your CRT is shutting down that's why it's going blank on you at random times.  Get it fixed or replace it with an LCD and I think you'll be in business.
