Hi sunrise side the screws I'm referring to are the ones that you said that could be to long keeping the pinwheel and agitator from moving properly.

OK. The agitator screws are not adjustable. If there is no play/slop back and forth of about an 1/8" when you move the pinwheel, the screws maybe to long . Replace them with shorter.
