EPROM 25256E for G23

There are some great threads here regarding swapping brainboxes in the same G23 machine.  My current understanding is that it seems that most efficient  way to do this without having to clear any memory or having to enables game is to also swap the two 8-pin eproms on the backplane. After initially configuring the two new eproms with a respective replacement brainbox, the new eproms would be installed anytime the replacement brainbox is installed.  The original eproms would follow the original brainbox.  (Please correct my understanding, if I got it wrong.)

I see on EBay where the 25256E eprom can be ordered from China, but that takes so long.  Is it possible that a domestic supplier such as Digikey has the correct eprom? It is likely that the DIP8 is obsolete domestically, but there may be SOIC-8 version that could be soldered to an eprom cradle?

I'd appreciate a link to this 25256E eprom from a domestic supplier.

I ordered the EPROMs from China off of EBay, and it looks like that order is being processed and shipped. Might be here by the middle of October.
