WBA 12 only accepts ones

Newbie here. My BV would not read vouchers. I re-calibrated it and now it only accepts ones.

Might have dirty lenses internally and/or bad drivers.

I disassembled cleaned all the LED's and lenses. I reassembled and re-installed it. Now it cycles upon power up but it accepts no bills and the doesn't indicate it is ready. I will work on it again this weekend. Hopefully one of the connectors didn't seat properly. Are the drivers mentioned in the post above inside the BV or are they a part of the CPU?

Try a pre-2003 bill. Has it ever accepted ew currency?

Drivers are the wheels that grab the bill when it's first inserted into the head.

Thank you for highlighting that. I am not sure at this point, I have only had it a short while and did not think to determine what all currency it was taking when it was working properly.

Thank you for the clarification. I was unsure if you were speaking of a mechanical issue or some type of transistor or electrical device.


I have spoken to Jim at Midwest Slots.

He was very helpful and helped me identify my bill validators heads and bill collector components.

I highly recommend Jim. He was very knowledge and super helpful.

I will be ordering the new parts I need from him.
