Good Day to All at NLG. Quite Frequently When I’m playing this machine I have an issue as if the reels are hitting something and All the reels spin slowly and then once the message disappears it resets and finishes the game that’s played. “PLEASE WAIT” PERFORMING MEMORY CHECK”.
Once the message is gone the reels finish their cycle. I don’t see them hitting anywhere, but Bi noticed there’s a lot of posts. about the reel strips. Any thoughts/ suggestions would be great to try to resolve. Thank You,’

I don’t know much about newer machines but that sounds like a problem in the power rail.
Im going to show my ignorance but is there a 24v line for the motors? If so I would look at that. I would check the 5v too.

Sounds like to me one of the door switches are being set off. I can see faintly on the bonus monitor it says “CLOSURE M”

The issue with S9E’s is that there are like 3 main doors, Top box, Reel Door, and Bottom Door where the CPU is at. You will have to identify which of those switches are being set off.

I would guess it's probably the belly door switch.  I would jumper it. Post a pic of it for him so he knows where it's at.

As I had figured. It is very likely either the switch under the cashbox or the reel door since the reel door springs tend to be very pushy nowadays
