I have a machine that is missing the original progressive display and I'm looking to fill the opening in the glass.  The display does not have to actually do progressive increases like normal, I would be happy with the ability to display the time or a custom message.  How do you go about programming these displays?

It's a process. You first need the serial cable to attach from a laptop to the unit, and you have to download dosbox onto your laptop. That is where all the programming gets done and then you send it to the unit to display. Plenty of how to threads on here.

The PC application to program these is called PSP.
Its an old program and only works on old 16bit operating systems like Windows 98
DOSBOX is a emulator for Win10/11 machines that gives you a command prompt and then allows you to run PSP within it.

I offer service to program these progressive units. I can only program it with a dollar amount. Such as - $500,000 Or set it up as a working progressive for your machine.  If interested send me a PM

@scottf11961 - you rock, thanks for the super fast shipping.  The display works perfectly.

@Sunrise Side - I'm not able to send PMs ( I assume it's because I'm a new member), but I'm interested in your services.  This is a Cham2+ and I'd be interested in making it work in Progressive mode with my machine.  What do you charge for your programming services?
