Player tracking systems are somewhat generic.
They are associated with a Casino rather than a particular slot manufacturer with only minor input changes but the kicker is that they all need to be connected back to a master computer. So while many of these "terminals" are abandoned with the machine and often discarded they won't work standalone for home use.

Some people have hacked them to get little messages running by like "Mikes Casino and Grocery" but they don't function otherwise.

I think a couple of members had projects to build a home grown version of the player tracking but unlike Bettor-Tito I don't think any have been brought into mainstream.

From the photos above, those topbox plates look like they'd fit an S2000 upright machine.
The player tracking stuff fits in any machine but the connecting plugs on the wiring harnesses are made to fit certain machines.
Hopefully they'll fit your machine.
Normally casinos don't throw them out...they'd keep the player tracking stuff to use in the new machines....unless they change the tracking system completely.
They're always upgrading PT equipment.

Are you looking for replacement plates for your S2000 ?
There are vendors selling some some blanks with out holes.

In my S+ slots (same foot print as s2000) - I had some that had all sorts of holes from player tracking devices that were removed
I got out my angle grinder and dremel and cut these into a big hole and mounted Mikon Progressive displays behind them and put on Plexy glass on the front.
Other people have picked up generic scrolling displays and programmed custom messages in them.

I am working on another project to hijack the Mikohn Rs485 signal and feed it into a PC so I can create custom graphics and display the progressive amount.
With respect to a screen for this I was looking at a monitor like this and fit it into the player tracking bar. Regardless if I am successful I thought I could still use the monitor to take pictures of my friends with the "big cheque" from progessive wins and display it on/in the machine.

Just some ideas.

It’s a machine I’m doing for a guy, he really wants a player tracker on it, whether it works or not.
