Black and Blue screen

  Hi friends, I have a problem with a Game Maker v7000, and it's the following: I have three MPUs. One shows a fixed blue image with the green LEDs lit, and the other two are black screens with green LEDs lit and the red one too. I've tried swapping the M0/M1 and G0/G1, using the P10 Clear chip, and nothing changes. Any help would be appreciated  . Thank you very much in advance, and sorry for my poor English. V7000 boards are completely independent in settings, meaning you can pull a board and insert another without doing any setup.
I lean towards something being wrong with your monitor,  video connection or power distribution. Probably not the later if you checked connections.

Do you have a debug chip? It often helps if something in the machine is locked up. However, ot is strange that all 3 boards have similar issues.

If I have it, is it used the same way as the Clear chip? I tried it that way, but it didn't work. The MPU reset button works on the one with a blue screen, it resets the board, flashes blue a few times, and then stays blue all the time. I'm lost.

Yes, it works the same way.

It should bring up a setup menu.

It is possible you have a monitor problem. If itbhas a Tatung monitor it likely needs a critical capacitor kit.

The monitor is literally new, very few hours of use. It's a standard VGA monitor, beyond the connector?, It's incredible that with three MPUs and several main/graphics modules and games, it doesn't work.

Yes, it is nearly impossible. Have you checked the 5v on the board? That is a vital voltage for the computer board.

Without being in front of the machine it is difficult to guess what might be wrong.

Well, I have an update. On an MPU that had a black screen, i removed the HD63484CP (Video) chip and the MC68332A (32-Bit Modular Microcontroller), thoroughly cleaned their pins and socket, and got video. (blue screen with a cursor) :



I inserted the clear chip and got a Bus error message:



This error disappeared after replacing chips U18, U28, U19, and U25. I still don't know which one was causing the error. This allowed me to perform the clear normally.  , but now I have another problem  , it shows DOOR OPEN: bill, stacker, main, logic, this v7200 only has a main door switch (mechanical switch working which I set with the clear chip) I attach an image.

The bill stacker doors are very sensitive on these. If the BV door cover is closed and pressing the switch the error will go away.
These usually have optical door switches but if yours has mechanical and the switch is closed the error should go away.

I don't know how to upload the images, sorry. This machine doesn't have a VB or any switches for anything other than the main door (it's always worked that way). I think it might be a loose connection in the microcontroller or perhaps a faulty IC, I'm really lost but I'll keep trying!!!

Well that error icon is telling you that it expects the Cash can switch to be closed and it isn’t. There might not be a switch but there might be two wires that are supposed to be tied together.

I understand, anyway the main door switch doesn't change the state on the machine and both the switch and the cables are fine

You need to trace the wires to the board. Its also possible the transistor or IC that the trace goes to has failed. If the computer says the switches are open they are open somewhere.
