Turn the jackpot key and see if it gives you the reason for the error.

Thanks Cliff! (see next reply)
I didn't even look at the game title. Just thought of the IGT M.  :duh:

Turkey Shoot is an I-game.   I'll move this to that forum.   If you open the main door it should give you a reason for the error.

I took a picture of the error but I cannot post it as it says it’s too big of a file. Anyone know how I can reduce the size of a picture on my iPhone? Or how I can get the picture on here.

Some people say you can email it to yourself and it will resize itself.  The file needs to be under 1MB to post.

CAUTION: Make sure the power is OFF before removing or replacing any components!

I figured that would be the error.  You need to replace the coin cell battery on the MPU board.  If the MPU has been modified to use a coin cell holder than it's easy, pop the dead one out and put the new one in.  If not then you'll have to desolder the old one and install a coin cell battery holder, then the battery.  After the battery is installed you may need a keychip to get the machine set back up.

It's right under the monitor with the row of LEDs and handle on the front.  You have a 044 MPU board so it will have a removable CR2354 battery making replacement easy.  In addition to removing the power ground yourself to the frame of the machine before removing and replacing it.  Static electricity can damage it.

Yahoo, the battery was the issue. Seems to be working fine now. Thank You for all the help. One more question maybe you answer. Did the battery die because it was turned off for so long or is it something that just needs to be changed periodically? Thanks again and you can label this resolved.

Glad you got it back up and running  :applause:.   The battery in a 044 MPU typically lasts roughly 18 months and then it needs to be replaced.  Now you'll know what to do the next time it happens.
