CEI Casino Poker Omega 1981 Gaming Draw Poker Stand Up
« on: November 09, 2025, 07:03:28 pm »
Hello NLG! First time poster... recently got this Casino Poker Machine. Looking to sell it after I got it back working. I work on arcade machines and found this at an auction. If it's broken and it's electronic it is for me so it came home. HEAVY THING!!! Anyways, here is my ebay listing, I could be way off on price so let me know. Thanks!!

I can only speak for my local market, you can buy a early 2000s Game King for less than that.
CEI machines sell for under $100 if not working and maybe $350 working.
Your machine looks clean but you didn’t post any pics of the inside or the board. When I sell a machine all the chrome is polished, all bulbs work, the hopper has been removed and cleaned. I always pull the monitor and at the very least blow/brush the dust off and inspect capacitors visually. You might find a collector willing to pay more. Or (I don’t mean to be offensive) but you might find someone who doesn’t know better.

On CEI machines part of the “get it working“ process should be to lift and inspect any IC that is in a socket and spray deoxit in the electrical connectors. They are known for having problems with oxidation and/or the female pin isn’t tight. Some people get the machine working by removing the board and un-doing a few connectors and viola, it suddenly works….for a few days or weeks, simply because they swiped enough oxidation off the connectors for it to make contact.

A machine is worth what someone is willing to pay.....so if your in a market that doesn't have a lot of machine availability you can get more.
In Ohio, Nevada you would not touch $1k.  With that said its always easier to negotiate down and everyone loves a deal.... (hard to negotiate up).

If you were to check out other Ebay / Craigslist adds for Game King, Game Maker and IGT PE+ and price accordingly.

A few items to note:
The Game King / Game Maker are multi-game machines and come with a bill validator that is upgradable to all current bills. They can also use Bettor Tito to make them coinless
The PE+ has good alternate game choices (you need to change out the chip set but they are readily available) and it also has a bill validator, albeit only to the last series of bills before current.
Your screen has a fair bit of burn in and that may lead to lower prices. The PE+ is hard to change to a LCD without OEM LCD parts, not sure about this CEI but you might consider swapping to LCD if you can.

If you can't afford to lose you can't afford to win.

Thanks for your insight! This makes sense, as I said I have worked on a lot of arcade machines just never a slot or casino game. I will take the time to "DEOXIT THAT SOCKET" and I noticed a battery on the main board as well... that will have to go before it explodes! The hopper on this one does not seem to work. When I hit payout it sits for a second like it should be asking the motor to turn, and then says "hopper empty" think there is something to investigate there.

Thats the kind of thing that will stop working when connectors or IC pins get oxidized. But more likely there is a coin jammed that is preventing the hopper from turning so it just times out.
